How do you overcome adversity in your life?
Are there any strategies you have used in the past to reclaim your power?
Here are some I have used:
Start believing and trusting in yourself. Adversity is an experience, and it doesn’t define us. Remember that our inner critic can be our worst critic!
Talk positively about what you both think and say. Your self-esteem needs to hear the positive thoughts, so empower yourself today.
Be kind to yourself if life has knocked you. Mistakes happen, but we can learn from them and move forward. Talk to yourself as you would a friend who was going through the experience.
Don’t react to problems. Take ownership of them and choose how you will respond.
This is your life, and we will have low moments and high moments. Adversity can make us better versions of ourselves.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Look for opportunities and the silver lining. Sometimes things fall apart for a reason!
Have a plan and take action. Keep to your goals and persist in achieving them.
Be grateful for the adversity. Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes we don’t see it. We learn from these times, and this can empower us.
