This is my absolute favourite recipe for a gluten-free pizza base. I rely on my Panasonic Bread Maker to whip up this gluten-free pizza dough, making it both dependable and easy to prepare. The result is a delicious, crispy base that everyone will love. The number of servings will depend on individual appetites, but we typically use the dough to create personal pizzas, allowing each of us to add our favourite toppings. Perfect for a fun family night in!

Ingredients:
250 ml water
30 ml olive oil
325 g General All-Purpose Gluten-Free Flour
15 g cornflour
2 tsp xanthan gum
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp caster sugar
2 tsp yeast
Extra Flour for dusting
Extra Oil for greasing
Method:
Panasonic Automatic Breadmaker Model No. SD-ZB2512
Menu ‘28’ - Pizza Dough (45 minutes). Timer available.
Place the ingredients into the bread maker in the order listed above.
* Please note that placing them in the incorrect order may lead to inadequate rising of the bread.
Switch the bread maker on and select the correct menu.
Once the dough is fully prepared, promptly remove it from the bread pan and shake it out onto a floured surface.
* Remember to switch the bread maker off!
Preheat the oven to 220°C / 200° Fan / 425°F.
Knead the dough briefly, then transfer it onto oiled baking sheets, where you can divide and shape it as desired.
Additional Notes:
You can either bake the pizza base for approximately 10 to 20 minutes (depending on its size) and then freeze it once cooled.
Alternatively, you can add your pizza toppings and continue cooking them.
I have discovered that prebaking the pizza dough before adding the toppings results in the ultimate pizza for our family!
