Pansonic Bread Maker: Gluten Free Milk Loaf
Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free
Gluten free bread is wonderful when cooked fresh. This Gluten Free Milk Bread Loaf is cooked completely in the Panasonic Breadmaker and has a soft texture and fantastic flavour.
Ingredients:
1 egg
275 ml milk (I used rice milk)
15 ml sunflower oil
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp. caster sugar
225 g rice flour
2 tsp xanthum gum
7 grams dried active yeast
Method:
Beat together the egg and milk, then pour the mixture into the bread maker pan.
Add all the remaining ingredients in the order specified above.
Set the machine to the 1 hour 55 minutes menu, selecting either Medium or Dark Crust according to your preference.
As the cooking time nears its end, check the bread. If it is golden and firm to the touch, carefully remove it.
Don’t forget to switch the machine off!
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
Once the bread has cooled, remove the paddle.
Additional Notes:
Consume within four days or freeze for future use.
Keep a close watch on this while cooking. Each bread maker is unique, so I always check regularly when experimenting with a new recipe in my machine.
Equipment Used:
Panasonic Bread Maker.
