Some days can be easier than others on your journey with autoimmune diseases. Some days it can take a lot of courage and strength for me not to reach for the comfort food that I know can bring on a flare for me. On these days, it is normally stress or exhaustion that is triggering the need for comfort food and so looking after my self as a whole is important.
As time has progressed I have found fewer cravings for comfort food, and when they do come around it is often at a point where I should perhaps slow down or take some time to look after myself and prioritise myself!
Our health is linked to our lives and how we live them. I love bringing people along on the journey and seeing the change within a six-month program.
